Deep in the woods and surrounded by its wild isolation, a young couple have nothing else but each other. Dealing with their high expectations, disenchantment and self-compromise, they are both brought together and torn apart.  The Woods presents a complete picture encapsulating the contemporary experience of love and companionship. Written by the Pulitzer Prize winning author of Glengarry Glen Ross, The Woods is a modern love story.  5pound theatre is proud to be bringing this poetic and vibrant story to the Melbourne stage. This will be Susannah Frith’s directorial debut and stars Hannah Norris and Jason Cavanagh.
