				After a sold out season, Grit Theatre’s Us went on to win the Melbourne Fringe Best Performance and PACT Emerging Artists Award in 2010. The show is returning for one week in Melbourne, before its final run at PACT in Sydney. Us is performed, devised and designed by the Grit Theatre ensemble. There is a group of us meeting up. Bring whatever you want. There will be music, drinks, and a place to crash. Don’t worry about what to wear, but dress up if you want. There will be some dancing. There are some things to eat, some things to do. We want you there. Us is a new work from Grit Theatre (Maelstrom, The Unexpected Passage Of Time Within A Confined Space). Both pinpointing and clutching at straws. Heavy and clumsy but also weightless and graceful. Us is a party. Us is your weekend off. The hour on the phone with a friend. The walk of shame on Sunday morning. Us is all the things you have no idea about, and neither do we. The laughter when you don't know what to say. The questions. The leaving. The coming back. Us is a collage of the twentysomething you are, were, will be. You know Us. Let us know you. The people you know/knew. The things you do/did.
