Destruction of Innocence (DOI for short) is a multi-disciplinary piece of artwork aimed at exploring and encouraging the creative passions of amateurs, enthusiasts and students in the alternative community.
Opening Saturday April 3rd at The Owl and the Pussycat gallery in Richmond, Destruction of Innocence is a 42-panel photo story that involves alternative and gothic models and enthusiasts.
The primary storyline explores the Concept world, where common ideas are represented as people.
DOI is an interpretation of an Adam and Eve story in a modern gothic setting. It follows the lives of characters Innocence, Death, and Reality and introduces us to gothic conceptions: Death in the Court of Heaven, The Seven Deadly Sins, The Four Horse riders of the Apocalypse and more...
