We would like to introduce our brand new theatre company, Lil’ Frenchy Legges Productions. We are most excited by our first production - ‘Bombshells’ by the famous Australian playwright Joanna Murray-Smith.
Murray-Smith describes ‘Bombshells’ as an exploration of ‘Women on the edge’. This is evident throughout the 6 monologues that delve into the desperate and brittle lives of women at various decisive moments which will shape their futures. The play explores women of all ages from a young adolescent music theatre hopeful through to a middle aged widow whose life is renewed through the salve of the unexpected.
‘Bombshells’ features company members Stephanie Lillis, Tilly Legge and Madeline Claire French. They are joined by director Jim French with music composition by Tegan French and dance choreography by Amy Jenkins.
