6th July - 16th July
Opening night 6-9pm Tuesday July 5th
Matty Fuller is a photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. His camera acts as an extension of his body and explains why Two Days of May is already Fuller’s second solo exhibit this year.
Fuller’s latest creative undertaking was shot over the course of a single weekend in and around the Victorian Alps and is an exploration of scenes and details that are often overlooked.
The exhibition itself is an aesthetic study of the origin, purpose, and demise of an object or environment. With these photographs, Fuller explains the he intends to “inspire reflection and curiosity and remind us of the things we often forget are a part of the world.”
The exhibition coincides with the launch of Fuller’s debut publication/zine also titled Two Days of May. There are 100 copies of the book available, numbered and signed by the artist.
The gallery at the Owl and the Pussycat in Richmond will feature 7 striking photographs all taken over one autumn weekend, all A2 and all framed.
The exhibition will open on Tuesday July 5th. Two Days of May continues The Owl and Pussycat’s proud record of supporting talented and emerging artists.
This exhibition also coincides with the launch of Fuller’s debut zine of the same name. To purchase a copy click below...
